Dalton Joy, upcoming Senior and varsity football player at Wirt County High School, passed away in a tragic car accident Wednesday, June 1, 2022.
Dalton was a wonderful, kind, polite, and helpful person who will be missed by the entire community, church, classmates, and teammates. He was always ready to lend a hand, give a hug, high-five, or show his gorgeous smile.
Dalton is the son of Mike & Jenn Joy, brother to Sean, Nikki, and Emma. They need all of our love, prayers, and support at this time. Your donation will help ease a small part of the burden at a time when the right words cannot be found.

All proceeds will go directly to Anthony “Mike” & Jenn Joy. Services are Sunday, June 5, 2022. Visitation is 2-4pm, celebration of life at 4pm.
Also, there will be a Benefit Dinner Sunday, June 5th at the Elizabeth Baptist Church Fellowship Hall at Noon. Pulled Pork, Green Beans, Pasta Salad, Dessert for $10 donation.
Saturday, June 4th is a car wash and bake sale at Advance Auto in Elizabeth.
If you’d rather donate another way, please contact me or Elizabeth Baptist Church. There is not an actual goal amount. The purpose is to ensure the family has all they need for expenses and cover time needed from work.
