Dalton Fighting Cancer

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers. I’m reaching out on behalf of my partner Dalton, who is facing a challenge that no one should have to endure. Dalton is a 29 year old with a heart of gold someone who would give you the shirt off his back and never ask for anything in return. A loving partner, brother, and son, Dalton has always been there for everyone in his life. Recently, Dalton had double vision and headaches for 2 weeks but still went to work and kept doing his everyday life as he thought he just needed glasses. Dalton booked to go to Specsavers after work, during his appointment they mentioned he needed further tests as the side effects he was having looked more serious they gave him a 24 hours urgent referral to go to the Princess Alexander Hospital. So we attended the hospital the next day, after sitting in the waiting room for 9 hours we spoke to the eye specialist which sent him off for a ct scan and a mri. We found out he had a blockage in his brain that was stopping the fluid from circulating he had to go for surgery the following day to release the pressure on his brain and do a biopsy. Dalton then received the heartbreaking news that he has been diagnosed with germ cell cancer in his brain. A biopsy revealed a 2cm mass as he prepares for the battle ahead facing radiation and chemotherapy next week. He is also facing the financial stress that comes with such a diagnosis. Dalton cannot drive and has to take time off work to focus on his treatments, which means he currently doesn’t have a income to cover everyday expenses, Rent, ect. Dalton has always been a beacon of kindness and strength for those around him. Now, it’s our turn to rally around him.
