Dalton Carr's PGA Dream
Donation protected
My name is Dalton Carr, I am creating this page because my goal is to be a full-time PGA Tour professional golfer. I have pursued this dream with absolute focus and conviction, from the summer day at the age of fourteen when I first held a golf club, to now as a PGA Associate Golf Professional looking to generate some funds in order to pursue my tournament dreams.
I have gotten better every season and am now competitive in every tournament I enter. At this point, my golf skills match my golf goal. So, it is no longer a matter of skill, but money. Unfortunately I was recently let go of my Job as an Assistant Golf Professional due to our management company deciding to go a different direction, so right now i am no longer able to save money to help with events and travel.
With your help, I will be able to dedicate myself full-time to professional competitive golf, playing a challenging schedule around the country without sacrificing practice time to work full time.
I plan to travel first to the Carolina Mountain Tour and then proceed onto the Web.com and PGA events, knowing I can book a simple, clean room and the tournament entry fees without having to worry about the cost.
I will be able to afford regular training sessions, and hopefully hire a teaching coach to help keep my game in top shape, I can focus on my swing, my equipment, and my mental toughness.
I will learn how to win in large, pressure-filled tournaments, proving myself to corporate sponsors, whose support I will need to continue my career.
For my first full year of complete dedication to winning golf tournaments, I will have to raise $40,000 for tournament fees ($1000 to $2500 per event), caddies, travel costs, personal coaching, equipment, and living expenses as I travel around seeking to play, to win, and to prove myself at the highest level of competitive golf.
Will you, who know me and love the game of golf, help me
