Dallas's Journey: Healing After Surgeries

Hi everyone,

My name is Dallas, and I'm reaching out during one of the hardest times in my life. I'm trying to raise $1,800 to cover one month of rent, so I can get critical car repairs done, and start getting back on solid ground.

I do have a stable job, but I make about $2,000 a month before taxes — not enough to catch up on everything after a tough year.

Last year, I had two failed knee surgeries that caused me to miss a lot of work and fall behind financially, and a mini-stroke/seizure. On top of that, my fiancé had a failed spine surgery and is now permanently out of work.

Right now, I'm short on May’s rent, and my landlord isn’t able to offer an extension.

On top of that, while my car runs, I can’t legally drive it — my registration tags have been expired for almost a year because I can’t afford the repairs needed to pass smog and renew it. Without a registered car, it’s even harder.

I’m doing everything I can, but I need a little help to bridge this gap, save our home, and get back on track.
