Hello I usually don’t do this but at this point I’m in definitely a time of need for my one year old dog Dallas . This dog has been our rock thisyear due to dealing with a lot of new obstacles that have been thrown in my wife and my life this past year.
last Thursday 8/20/20 our dog got spayed. Ever since the surgery she hasn’t been acting herself. Some early symptoms we saw was her being very tired , panting and sometimes her muscles in her head and ear area were spasming. When we contacted the vet they stated it might just be that she’s still recovering from her
surgery . A couple of days later we noticed she was very sluggish and saw the her face was pinned back like if her muscles got stiff . At this point she was also throwing up a lot so we decided to take her immediately to the vet . We come to find out the Dallas has been diagnosed with tetunas which is extremely rare in dogs. She is only 1 years old and if a fighter. Hopefully we caught it on time but even if we did her whole body might end up paralyzed and completely stiff until her body fights the bacteria of it can. There’s no way of knowing if she will make it but she’s a fighter and we will do everything we can to give her the best shot of making it. As of right now her neck, face, and jaw are currently stiff . She can barely breath but it trying to push through. There is no actual vaccines or cure for tetunas on dogs so all we can do is provide her with a lot of fluids , antibiotic, and a lot of prayer . As you can imagine this is very expensive and would appreciate any help you can provide. This dog is my wife and I life and even If you cannot help with a donation please keep her in your prayers ! Thanks you friends !
