Help Dalia's Family Survive in Gaza

Hi, I am Meghna, a researcher based in UK. I am raising money to support my friend Dalia who is in Gaza. Dalia wants to raise money to support her family to survive the current situation in North Gaza where there is severe starvation and food scarcity going on. Here is a message from Dalia:

Hi, I'm Dalia, a 28-year-old mechatronics engineering graduate from the besieged yet resilient city of Gaza. I'm married and a mother to two wonderful children, Ammar, aged 5, and Adham, aged 4.

My husband and I have always strived to be each other's support system, facing life's unfairness with a belief that together, we could make each day count. We've shared joys and sorrows, hoping to paint a brighter future for our kids despite our harsh realities.

After years of hard work and struggle, we managed to build our modest home. I worked at an educational institution in engineering, and my husband was an accountant in a local company. Each day, we ended exhausted but hopeful, dreaming of a future where nothing was impossible.

Our dreams took a significant step towards reality when my husband decided to start his own business. The preparation was tough but filled with hope for our family's future. However, just as his business began to take shape, the unimaginable happened.

War broke out, and day by day, we lost everything. My workplace was destroyed, followed by our home that we had built with years of toil. My father's house and his auto trading business, the fruits of his life's work, were obliterated. And then, the foundation of our future, my husband's dream project, was destroyed before it could even flourish.

Are we not allowed to dream? Do we not have the right to build a future for ourselves and our children, or to live in peace in a home we built from years of hardship? Everything we valued is now gone.

The war has ended everything for us. We're left dreaming of basic necessities like water and food for our children, resorting to eating what's meant for animals just to survive. Our children question the nature of their meals, and in attempts to ease their distress, I tell them these are highly beneficial, hoping to see them grow into the engineer and doctor they dream of becoming.

But what future is left to speak of?
