Producing New Album "Rain"

Donation protected

Hi! :) Happy Purim!

My name is Dalia Oziel. I am a frum Jewish girl with a message to all Jewish women, as well as a madricha in Me'Ohr Bais Yaakov. I have an inspirational cause on an important day like this.

Last year, I had the honor of releasing a Jewish, women's only album titled "Stained Glass," which can be found on Mostly Music and iTunes. This past album was only made possible with the help of incredible people like you: people who saw the importance of having meaningful Jewish music by girls for girls. I especially have to thank my Me'Ohr family for pulling that project through.

(If you haven't heard the music yet, visit www.daliaoziel.com to hear clips!)

In the Jewish music market, I have seen that it is very challenging to make a profit, especially as a women's artist. Yet the inspiration that has been flowing back and forth has been all worth it. Over the past year, I have been writing new songs with more depth, and have been dreaming about releasing a second album. The cost of producing an album is $5,500, so I decided to aim for something along the way to keep the momentum up.

A song I have  more recently written is called "Your Daughter." When a sibling loses a sibling, it is extremely painful; yet when a parent loses a child, the pain is on an entirely different level. So too. when one of us loses someone in Bnei Yisroel to the pressures of the secular world -- a family member, a friend, a neighbor -- it is considered losing our sister or brother. And it is painful. Now just stop and think about the pain that Hashem, his or her Father, is kiviyachol feeling. This song is my proclomation to Hashem, that no matter how far away people are running away from Him in today's world, I will always remain His daughter. I hope that when you will listen to it, you will feel that way, too.

Once the $550 mark is hit, I will IY"H record this song this upcoming week and release it before Pesach. I can only do this with your help.

Sharing my music with you means the world to me. Please help make this dream happen so we can keep spreading inspiration. Every single donation counts.

All my love,

Dalia
