In February 2025, Dale L. Nelson, Jr. underwent colon surgery to remove a mass and was declared cancer-free after the procedure. Unfortunately, Dale was not cancer free and has recently faced a series of serious health challenges, including complications from Type 1 Diabetes and fluid buildup around his lungs and stomach and kidney issues. These issues have required multiple hospitalizations since early July, and he is currently receiving intensive treatment at UC Anschutz Hospital.

This turn of events has completely upended Dale’s life. As a sole proprietor, he is unable to work or keep his woodworking business running while he focuses on his health. During this difficult time, family, friends, and clients from across the country have reached out, asking how they can support Dale and help him through these challenges.

Medical bills daily living expenses and business cost are piling up. Without income from his woodworkng business, Dale is facing severe finacial hardship on top of his health battle. Our goal is to raise $7,000 to help cover:
