On the night of June 26th our beloved Father, Poppy, Brother, and Friend Dale Thomas was brutally killed and ripped from our lives at only 61 years old. Little did his murderer think of the beautiful life Dale has left behind. Dale has three children, Dale, Jenn, and Natalie; step-children Erica, Donelle, Hayden, and Micayla; and beloved brothers Patrick and Danny McConnell.
Everyone who knows him knows what an amazing man and father he was. Giving of himself to anyone in need. Dale was Father to those that weren't even born unto him. He took us all under his wing and made us feel special. Always asking and caring about the lives around him. Dale was a Father to the now heartbroken Sheehan, Lynch and Davis Families.
Even more heartbreaking are the grandchildren who will now always wonder what the next 20 years would have been like with their Poppy. He leaves behind Thomas, Rylee, Reaghan, Nicholas, Bryson, Zane, Donovan, Sammy, and Rolf.
The murderer never thought about the family he leaves behind. I'm asking that you think about that family now to help them pay for Dale's funeral which will be held at Hessling's Funeral Home in Honesdale, PA. Details will be provided as soon as they are available. I know that any donation you make will not bring Dale back, but it will help them to keep some of his belongings so they won't have to sell them to pay for his funeral.
