Dale has been a long-time gate Officer at the Castaways and has always gone above and beyond the call of duty. He is a beloved friend of the Castaways and many others and no matter what’s going on he has a smile on his face.

Unfortunately, after 15 years of service to Castaways, Dale has been diagnosed with Stage-4 Pancreatic Cancer along with other serious complications. The doctors are still running tests on Dale, trying to find the best treatment plan for Dale, which may include Chemo and radiation Therapy, and major Surgery.

Dale is in a tremendous amount of pain and wants nothing more than to return to his love of service to the residents of the Castaways but at the moment is unable. Dale told me that he will be seeking and considering all treatment plans because his goal is to beat this cancer and return to his post and friends.

Dale told me that serving the Castaways Community has been one of the best jobs of his life, and he misses all of his friends and the friendly faces he sees while he is at work.

Dale is married to his beautiful wife Sylvia for over 35 years and she is doing her best to care for her beloved husband. Dale told me that he will fight with every ounce of his strength to remain strong and fight for his life however this fight will come with a huge financial burden which is why I am asking for your assistance.

Dale needs our assistance to help pay for his living expenses and his medical treatment(s) to help combat this extremely aggressive Stage-4 Pancreatic Cancer. We need to raise as much money as possible to alleviate any financial burdens that have been placed on Dale so that he can focus 100% of his energy on beating this awful disease so that in Dale’s words, he can return to his other home, namely The Castaways.

We are all so blessed with health and families, and we all have the ability to help Dale and meet and exceed his financial needs. I pray everyone will dig deep to alleviate Dale of worry in this critical and desperate time in his life.
