Dale Shane Long, 57, of Columbia, KY died Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green, KY. Born in Hyattsville, MD he is the son of the late Henry Long, Jr. and Patricia Harrison Long who survives.
Dale was a Sales Manager for Stephens Pipe & Steel, where he loved his job immensely. He enjoyed watching his children play sports, playing golf and hobby farming.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife Bobbie Roy Long of Columbia; two children Reagan and Aiden Long; a brother Henry Long, III; five sisters Beverly Long, Laura Dittes, Brenda Holson, Stephanie Patten and Tricia Stellabuto; his father and mother-in-law Arville & Linda Roy; a special friend that he thought of as his son Caylen Dial and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

My name is Jeff Hefner and I am a coworker of Dale Long and a close friend. I wanted to start the page for his wife and two children for any expenses they may have during this tough time. Bobbie Long has told me that all money will be donated to the local park and recreations for upgrades to their facilities. One of Dale's favorite things to do was to watch his children play ball, and this is what Bobbie feels like Dale would have wanted the money to got to.
All donations will be deposited into Jeff Hefner's personal account. 100% of all the proceeds will be given to Bobbie Long ( in a check in Bobbie Long's name) Tuesday after the funeral.
