Dale Lockamy - Final Resting Place
Donation protected
It's Saturday morning and Dale is still peacefully resting at home. Ivy and her Dad, their family, friends, and loved ones...are so grateful for these past few days together. Being able to peacefully and privately help each other say their goodbyes in their home has been a blessing words can't describe. Thank you to everyone who has thought of them, sent prayers, and donated to make this time possible. It is so gratefully appreciated. Please continue to keep them in mind as they go through these next days of letting go.
I am betting most of us remember Dale, in his navy blue Walton Raiders jacket with the red letters on the back. He was always a great personality...funny, kind, and caring. If you knew him, or if you didn't know him very well, you probably do remember him. His family, Ivy Lockamy Moss and Howard Lockamy, could really use a little help financially as Dale transitions from the ICU into home HOSPICE care at his Dad's house. Dale needs his seizure medicine three times each day. That is more than Medicare and Medicaid cover. Ivy and her Dad both have full time work schedules. So even with sharing night responsibilities, Dale still needs daytime care from a home nurse. They are checking options now to see what fits. We are hoping to gather small donations to help cover the cost of an in-home nurse so Dale can pass peacefully at his father's home. They expect a short term transition, as Dale will come home with only fluids, per the doctors recommendation. If you can spare a little to help out, it will make a huge difference in their family needs. Please, if you feel moved to do so, give anything you can to help with Dale's end of life expenses.
