Dale Hahlbeck Cancer Treatment

My beautiful mother who has a heart of gold and would literally give you the shirt off her back has been diagnosed with a horriffic cancer. On the somewhat bright side, It is over 90% curable with 25 treatments of targeted radiation and chemotherapy. She's already had 2 surgeries and will require 1 more once all treatment has been completed. Without getting into too much detail suffice to say that she requires specialized supplies to care for her body. These treatments will leave her highly susceptible to infection because it will take a huge toll on her immune system. Treating any type of cancer requires numerous specialized tests, several additional medications, weekly blood tests and much healthier but much more expensive food. While she does have medical insurance, her copays for treatments far exceed her social security disability income. However unfortunately, her income is about $140 more than the maximum that the state allows for financial and Medicaid assistance. Which puts her in the very small and unlucky bracket of getting ABSOLUTELY NO ASSISTANCE, physically, emotionally or financially from ANY and ALL Federal, State, and even NON-Profit organizations! Her medical insurance doesn’t cover the costs of the specialized supplies, food, transportation and other costs related to fighting this terrible disease. While the cancer itself is curable, it will leave her with a very high risk for a bowel obstruction for the rest of her life. As we live in a rural area, treatment requires me taking off of work and us traveling a round trip of at least 2 hours everyday, and some days close to 4 hours. As her only daughter living near her, the entire treatment, transportation, finances and care fall on me. I am not one to ever ask for donations, but if you are willing and able to help my mother financially, it is greatly appreciated.
