Hi, my name is Sheryl Miles, Dale Miles's wife of 33 years.

I am reaching out for donations to cover expenses for Dale's funeral proceedings.

Dale was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He was the glue that held our family together. Loosing Dale so suddenly has been devastating to our family.

Dale was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma over 10 years ago.

He was such a warrior.

Dale was in remission for a year. Until he was recently hospitalized in June due to the rapid decrease in platelets caused by the aggressive nature of his illness.

Multiple Myeloma is a very aggressive form of cancer. Multiple Myeloma is a cancer of the plasma cells.

The plasma cells are a type of white blood cell in the bone marrow. With this condition, a group of plasma cells becomes cancerous and multiplies. The disease can damage the bones, immune system, kidneys, and red blood cell count.

Unfortunately the Myeloma was so aggressive that it spread rapidly throughout Dale's body, chemotherapy was no longer a treatment option. Dale chose to come home to San Carlos where he was born and could be surrounded by his children and siblings.

Dale was dedicated to helping others in his community without any hesitation.

We are asking for your help to provide Dale with the service that he deserves. Dale's funeral service is on Saturday August 14th 2021. We would appreciate anything that you can help with at this difficult time for our family.
