Dale Bottum Ski Accident
Donation protected
Hi, I'm Rubin Crespo, raising funds for Dale Bottum after a horrific ski accident in Canada. Dale and his wife Roxanne (my sister) were on a trip to Canada. She was snowshoeing while he was downhill skiing. After the accident, he was taken to a local hospital and then transferred to a hospital in Vancouver for emergency surgery. Dale is currently a quadriplegic. The return trip to Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL has a cost of $80k. He will be undergoing two weeks of rehab and assistance with learning how to approach Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). Care in Canada is in the mid six figure range so they are relieved that he will soon be back in the US and within his insurance coverage. Although Dale retired from Pinellas County ISD last year, he was still working as a cameraman for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as well as other activities like USF games. Please share with everyone that you know and encourage any donations to help Dale & Rox cover transportation to US and Canada hospital costs. May God bless you as you do what you can to help Dale & Rox!
