Support for Dale Blanchard’s Memorial & His Son, Aiden

We are heartbroken to share that Dale Blanchard, 45, passed away unexpectedly on January 29, 2025, while waiting for a kidney transplant. Dale fought a long, courageous battle with kidney failure, spending multiple days a week in dialysis as he held onto hope for a new chance at life. A living donor was finally found, but by that time, Dale's body had deteriorated too much to undergo the transplant. Though we knew his health was declining, his passing came far sooner than any of us expected.

Dale dedicated his life to serving others as a professional firefighter and police officer until he was forced to medically retire. Outside of his career in public service, he was also a well-known DJ, bringing joy to so many through his music. He was a fighter in every sense of the word, never letting his illness define him.

The greatest love of Dale’s life was his 17-year-old son, Aiden. Aiden was his world, and Dale worked tirelessly to give him the best life possible. Tragically, due to his extensive medical issues, Dale was unable to obtain life insurance, leaving behind unexpected expenses and an uncertain future for Aiden.

We are setting up this GoFundMe to help cover funeral expenses, and anything beyond that will go directly to Aiden—to support him in this difficult time and help secure his future. It would mean the world to Dale if we could also raise enough to help Aiden pursue a college education, something Dale always dreamed of for his son.
