My friend Dakshiya has been a big part of my life for a while; encouraging me to participate in events that can brighten my future, being there for me when needed, and overall being a bright light in my life. She is one of those very few people that-no matter what happens-will always have the brightest smile on her face regardless of her situation.

Currently, her family is going through some hardships putting them at risk of having to sell their house, say goodbye to their loved ones, and leave the country. The passing of her grandfather was when it all started: the struggle of debt, holding on to their family store by a thread, and overall attempting to barely make things work as a family.
