Hey all,

Dakota is preparing for gender affirming surgery on March 22, and we're hoping their community can come together and raise some funds to allow them to recover comfortably.

Dakota is member of Lheidli T’enneh First Nation, and has been working for Indigenous organizations in so-called Vancouver for the past decade. They are currently between jobs, and with surgery coming up, we want to ensure they are financially supported during their recovery so that they can re-enter the workforce when they are fully healed and ready.

Funds will cover rent, groceries, travel expenses, medications, and food for their dog, Kato.
