Dakotah Persing

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our friend Dakotah Persing, who died at his home on June 16 at the age of 28 years old.

 

Dakotah, or Kotah or even DK, was loved by many people from a wide spectrum of backgrounds and interests. In the same breath that he was describing the most recent punk concert or comedy show he went to, he could seamlessly transition to talking about the latest Marvel show he was watching or the video game he was playing. Dakotah was someone who loved to laugh, debate and, most importantly, fiercely fight for those he cared about.

 

He was a loyal friend, cousin and son. And while he may have looked tough on the outside, he was a teddy bear on the inside.

 

We set up this GoFundMe to assist with covering the costs of his funeral and any other unforeseen expenses during this difficult time. Anything raised will go to Lisa Correa, his mama bear. Any donations or kind words are greatly appreciated.
