Dakota And Cece Get Back On Their Feet

Hello there. My name is Dakota, and my partner's name is Cecilia. I am disabled, but I was driving for Doordash, buying and selling things online and doing well, and just started growing, and Cecilia works at a good packaging job in the cannabis industry about 30 miles away that I was driving her to. That was until our car broke down and we had to get rid of it. Now I obviously can't Doordash, and I can't buy as many things to sell. And I also can't get Cecilia back and forth to work. This has not only affected her attendance but also her friendships at work, putting a strain on so many of them because of her constant need for a ride. Her job barely covered rent and what I was doing was taking care of the rest, but now we are slowly slipping behind. We were kicked out of our apartment and are currently living in a homeless assistance shelter and owe 1500 on back rent.

So that's the story, here's the ask. I just want enough to get us a car that will last us a year or two that has AC. It doesn't have to be pretty, so if we only end up with a grand or two, it won't be the end of the world. I'll make it work. But as it stands, I'm going to have to sell everything I own and it still won't be enough.

We're about $1500 behind on rent, so anything we get will be going to that first. After that, it's all going towards a car.
