D. Fermin was a loving son, brother, husband, father of three young children, friend and hard worker. As an essential worker TSS Fermin worked hard and was dedicated to not only his job but also his fellow workers. As a worktrain train operator “Papa” always gave a helping hand and kept a wonderful smile on not only his face but would make sure the people surrounding him had one as well. Papa Fermin shared his love of sports specifically baseball and his love of cigars with everyone he encountered. As a strong and genuine man Fermin gave his all, he spent his last days pushing himself to do what he had to do and not what he wanted. Fermin was taken down by this horrible pandemic, he took the proper precautions and still was taken out as a MTA worker he was on the front line not only putting himself but also his family in danger, and Unfortunately he paid the ultimate price. We are asking for donations to help his loving wife and three small children as he was the sole provider in his family. We ask that you help the family as he gave his life to move this city in such a troubling time.
