Daisy's journey & recovery
Donation protected
On Thursday 24th March Daisy was involved in an accident involving a truck which left her in a seriously critical condition. She was transferred straight to Southampton General Hospital where she was placed in a coma and rushed for emergency surgery. Daisy was taken to the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit where she remains today. Daisy is still critical but is now stable. Along with a fractured skull in 2 places, swelling and bleed on the brain, she suffered extensive injuries to both of her legs and feet which will require numerous operations and plastic surgery to give her the best chance in life to save her legs or be able to walk again. This will eventually require a transfer from Intensive Care to Salisbury Hospital as the surgeries are too severe and complicated to be done at Southampton. Daisy is expected to be in hospital for a long time and will require additional care in hospital after her surgeries for physio and rehab. Daisy’s parents will be by her side during this long road ahead and are no longer able to work while she recovers.
Any help or contribution towards relieving some of this stress so they can focus on getting their little girl home would be greatly appreciated.
Please all pray for our beautiful Daisy’s recovery.
