Daisy's Emergency Splenectomy & ER Care

Hi, friends. This is Amy (from DonoSews), and I'm fundraising on behalf of my dear friend Chanel, of Hypnotic Dog, and her heart and soul dog, Daisy.

Daisy woke up this morning with pale gums, collapsing and stumbling around. She was rushed to the emergency vet in hemodynamic shock, where she was immediately put on oxygen, given a blood transfusion, and diagnosed with a splenic mass. She is headed into emergency surgery to remove her spleen, after which they'll test for cancer and give a prognosis. We're crossing all our fingers and toes that Daisy will survive her splenectomy so that she and Chanel will get more time together.

This is every dog parent's worst nightmare, and the last thing Chanel and her husband should have to worry about right now is trying to run a big sale to cover these medical costs. Chanel's kindness shines through in all the work she does for the dog community, and I know how much of her heart is lying on that surgery table with Daisy. Any and every little bit will help ease the burden of the vet bills that are piling up for them, and I know both Daisy and Chanel will appreciate any amount of help. Daisy deserves to be reunited with her mama, taken home, and spoiled for however much time she has left.

All money donated will go directly toward the medical bills incurred from Daisy's splenectomy and subsequent hospital stay (2-4 days after surgery). The estimate Chanel was given quoted $10,000 on the low end and $14,000 on the high end. Proof of bills will be posted when they become available to me, and I'll try to keep everyone updated on how Daisy is doing.
