UPDATE 3/31/25:
Daisy has come home! Her surgery was successful, and now she is on strict bed rest for the next 4-6 weeks. She needs phyicial therapy every day along with lots of medications. Daisy is definitely happy to be home with her big brother Dook.
We are so greatful for everyone who donated, shared, and read Daisy’s story. It’s been the worst few days but we are pushing forward.
Thank you all so very much!
***************
For anyone who has met Daisy, they know how loving, sweet, and fun she is. Yesterday evening after work, Daisy could barely stand on her own. She was rushed to the emergency vet, but unfortunately, she needed an MRI and needed to see a neurologist. She was taken very late and the MRI is this morning. The prognosis is a slipped disc/herniated disc in her upper back/neck, which requires immediate surgery. This can be very costly with everything and the care she will need after.
For anyone that knows us personally, they know our dogs are our world and we will do anything and everything we can to keep them happy and healthy. Daisy’s big brother, Dook, is eagerly waiting to see his baby sister and help nurse her to a full recovery.
We are very uncomfortable asking anyone for anything, but life throws these situations at you with no warning. Anything will help our little girl.
Thank you for reading, any donations, and sharing.
