Daisy-Mo and Chuck Summer in Japan

Hi I'm Daisy-Mo,

I've been doing judo since 5 years old. I am now 11. I have took bronze at the British schools in the lower year, bronze in Bosnia in the U15's, British Judo Council Open Champ, Bronze, Venray, Holland, Bronze Samobor Croatia.

My Brother, Chuck, is 14 and has done judo for 11 years. Bronze and Silver at the British schools, Silver at Differdange Luxembourg, Bronze Samobor Croatia, British Judo Council Open champ. He has previous trained in the USA, Dubai, Japan, Denmark, France...

We currently train 4 times per week and participate in camps and training days.

Myself and my Brother will be training in Japan this summer. My Dad will be flying us out there and abandoning us!

We will be staying with a family in Kochi, Shikoko island, training 6 times per week at Kochi Judo club and Kochi Crazy Judo. We will also be visiting the birth place of judo, Eisho-ji Tempel, as well as the current headquarters for Kodokan Judo the Kodokan institute. It is a long way and will be scary but will be a huge life experience

My family have paid for the flights, accommodation and judogi's, we are now hoping for help to cover our sports insurance. Training through all of August into September, it is possible to get injured in some way and judo insurance, as an extreme sport can be expensive.

We appreciate their are far more deserving charities and causes out there, but hope that you can take credit for any future success we may have with your kindness, big or small. If we can exceed our target, we will use all funds for future travel and insurance.
