The Art House was established as a charity in 2015, founded upon a belief that participation in the arts and creative opportunities brings improved health outcomes and an increased sense of wellbeing for people as they learn new skills, develop their creativity and benefit from meeting up with other individuals with a similar interest.

In particular our mission is to support and promote recovery, social inclusion the development of local artists from marginalised groups.

As a charity we rely on regular income from the sales of our classes to ensure we can carry on with our invaluable work supporting vulnerable individuals. Sadly due to the current coronavirus outbreak we have had to close our doors for the foreseeable future, and we now need as much support as possible to help us through this difficult time.
