I’m thrilled to share that I’ve officially completed my Master of Arts in Couples and Family Therapy at Seattle University!

As I approach my 30th birthday next month, I’m taking a huge leap toward my dream: opening a private therapy practice where I can serve individuals, couples, and families with deep care, creativity, and compassion.

I’m fortunate to have stable housing and food security, but starting a business comes with a host of upfront costs — from licensing and insurance to website design, marketing, and technology costs. I’m also beginning to face my $55,000 in student loans , which makes this new chapter feel exciting and daunting.

Choosing to open my own practice instead of working under someone else is riskier and will require patience and hard work, but I know in my bones that I will show up as my fullest, most grounded self as my own boss. I believe I can offer the most healing and empowerment to others by following my heart’s deepest calling.
