It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved colleague and friend, Daisy Shane. In her memory, we are raising funds for a park bench in the Portland area in her and Finn's honor.

Daisy was an outstanding colleague and friend. Joining her PHP family in 2017, she excelled as a Senior Business Analyst on the Operations Technology team. Daisy contributed her exceptional analytical and documentation skills and knowledge to every project she touched. She was known for her sharp intellect, meticulous attention to detail, and dedication to best practices. Always proactive and mindful of process flows, Daisy was skillful at anticipating and resolving challenges.

In addition to her professional contributions, Daisy’s natural leadership skills, positive attitude, and warmth helped her build strong relationships across PHP. She personified humor, compassion, and generosity. Her passion and advocacy earned her the affectionate “mama duck” reputation – always watching out for others and being supportive.

Daisy cherished spending time with her canine best friend and companion, Finn. Together, they enjoyed hiking the local trails – especially in her favorite fall season. Daisy often said her spirit animal was her dog.

Her other passions included volunteering, supporting the community, and her team. She also enjoyed gaming, embroidering, baking, and taking Pilates.

Her loss is deeply felt by all whose lives she touched, including her PHP colleagues who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside her.
