Daisy and Lizzie graduated this past May, and we are getting ready to watch them step onto one of the biggest stages in the country.. for the last time as high school athletes.
They will join Team Colorado, an incredible team made up of the best wrestlers in the state, to compete at the USMC 16U & Junior Nationals in Fargo, North Dakota from July 15–19, 2026.
This isn't just another tournament, but their final competition of their high school careers. The closing chapter of years of hard work, sacrifice, and dedication to the sport they love.
If you know Daisy and Lizzie, you know what's behind this moment. Early mornings, long practices, tough losses, big wins, and the kind of grit that doesn't quit. They've poured their hearts into this journey, and now they've earned the chance to compete on one of the biggest stages in high school athletics, together.
And the best part? They're just getting started.
As of November 2025, BOTH Daisy and Lizzie officially signed to continue their wrestling careers at Western Colorado University starting Fall 2026, where they'll also be studying Business. Watching them grow into strong, driven young women, both on and off the mat, has made us more proud than words can ever fully express.
Any help you can give to get us across the finish line will be used to pay for the travel, lodging, fees, meals, and gear as they compete at key competitions in Utah & Oklahoma; as well as paying for the travel and fees to compete at Fargo with Team Colorado.
If you’re able to give, we are so incredibly grateful. Truly, no amount is too small. And if giving isn't possible, sharing this means just as much. Every bit of support helps carry them forward.
This is their last run as high school wrestlers, and we're soaking in every second of it before their college career starts this fall.
Thank you for believing in them, cheering them on, and being part of their incredible journey.
With so much gratitude,
Korina & Ruben Padilla
