Dear friends.

My daughter, Daisy was recently hospitalized for several weeks with severe pneumonia. After her release, she was required home health care to continue to battle the infection. The entire ordeal continues, as she has necrotic tissue of the lungs and the infection has still not cleared completely. On top of her already six figure hospital bill, she still requires follow ups with a pulmonologist as well as repeated cat scans. While most of her hospital bill is fortunately covered, there are specialty doctors that were/are not. These appointments run into the thousands. She has managed to pay her household bills these last two months from her savings, but that is now depleted. Her recovery is slow, and while she is getting better every day, she has now been out of work for almost two months and may not be fully back on her feet for some time. I am raising this money to not only help Daisy pay her doctor fees but also her household bills for the next 3 months so that she can focus on full recovery without the stress and strain of worrying how she will make ends meet.

If you know Daisy, you know that she is brilliant, hardworking and responsible. This is a very difficult time for her and to ask for help is hard for anyone but for her, it's near impossible. So I'm asking for her.
