Thank you for considering donating to our fundraising efforts to have a Gathering - Meitheal in Ireland in May 2023 of Indigenous Peoples. This event is a follow-up to a 2016 Gathering entitled First Nations Ireland.

The event coincides with the Festival of Bealtaine, the traditional lighting of Fires to mark the growing season. We chose DAINGEAN as the main theme of the Gathering- as DAINGEAN means strength, fortitude, and perseverance in Gaeilge/ Irish.

We wish to celebrate the survival of Indigenous Peoples, cultural practices and values on the island of Ireland and worldwide in the face of much adversity.

Your kind donation will help our volunteers put on a quality event for attendees at Gartan Lough in County Donegal.
