I am Dejah Jenkins-Minus' Great-Aunt and am organizing this on behalf of Dejah's Mother, my Niece, LaToya Minus.
Friday, November 26th, 2021 we all learned of the tragic domestic violence event Dejah Jenkins-Minus experienced costing her life.
Dejah was a bright spirit, and always smiling. As a young person, Dejah was always involved in many age-appropriate activities throughout her community. Dejah ended her high school years as an academic scholar.
At 22 years of age, she earned her wings as heaven’s gates opened for Dejah’s next endeavor. She leaves behind a beautiful 2-month-old daughter.
On September 20, 2021, she gave birth to her beautiful daughter and prize possession Dai’Lani at 4:01 A.M. Dai’Lani weighed 8 pounds 2oz. and was 20 inches long. Dejah loved Dai’Lani more than anything and wanted the world for her. It is up to us now to make sure that happens. Continue to share your love for Dejah by supporting her beautiful baby girl Dai’Lani.
We want to ensure that this beautiful innocent baby is financially stable and will have every opportunity to live a fruitful life by receiving a good education, having fun, playing sports, and social-emotional wellness despite the tragic loss of her mother at such a young age. We want to give Dai’Lani every opportunity available in honor of her mother.
