My dear friend and colleague Heather Molina is nothing short of a superhero mom. She is helping her youngest daughter navigate a recent diagnosis of Type 1 diabetes. Dahlia has trouble feeling when her blood sugar is high or low. Her family hopes to purchase a diabetic alert dog trained specifically to help Dahlia navigate the scary and unpredictable changes in her blood sugar. These service dogs can detect these life-altering changes before any devices can. Having this service dog (already named Barkley) would be life-changing for Dahlia, her mom Heather, her Dad Luis, and two older siblings. Please consider making a contribution to the amazing Dahlia in her journey to Barkley.
