Hey everyone! It’s Kaylee here. Some of you know the story of Daggie’s (Dagmar) eye and some of you are new to the scene.

I adopted Daggie in 2021 with my ex. She came with what we and the vets thought was some basic cherry eye - a disorder of the third eyelid that has a 50% recurrence. We lived with it on and off for the past few years until recently we learned it’s actually a tumor involving her third eyelid. It now occludes/blocks her entire right eye.

To remove the tumor, the surgical procedure involves removing the entire third eyelid. The good news is the vet is confident it will not affect her right eye! Daggie is only 10 and has many happy years ahead of her. At this time, the surgery is financially restrictive at $4000, which includes post-op care.
