Daffodil: A Short Film by Adela Papież

Donation protected
Hello! I'm Hannah Elliott, one of the producers for this project.

We are raising money for Daffodil, a short film written and directed by Adela Papież for the University of Michigan Film, Television & Media Honors Program.

Daffodil tells the story of Maja, an art student in university who is struggling to process her grief after the unexpected overdose of her best friend, Charlotte. Throughout the film, Maja learns it is okay to go to others for support and begins her healing journey.

This story is personal to Adela, and the rest of the cast and crew has been very moved by her script. The film is made up of an all-student crew and we are all putting our heart and soul into making this the best film it can be!

It would mean so much to the cast and crew if you are able to donate even a few dollars to our film. The money will go towards costumes, props, location rentals, transportation, meals on set, stipends for our adult actors... the list goes on! Currently, all expenses come out of the pockets of the students on our production team while we wait for funding from grants and this fundraiser, so every dollar helps :)

For regular updates on our film, please follow our instagram page, @daffodilmovie where we post cast and crew spotlights, stills from the film, and save the dates for screenings !

Thank you so so much for your support,
Hannah Elliott
