I am trying to raise funds for a very special cause. My 13 year old son, Dae'Vonn was nominated by his teacher to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum this summer to explore different STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) careers. He was chosen out of children from all over the country.  Dae'Vonn will spend time learning about the field of engineering, how engineering and technology go hand-in-hand and what career paths are available . Dae'Vonn will also learn about the engineering design process, then apply that knowledge to design, build and program a robot to compete in the robotics challenge and many other activities and field trips.

This is a huge opportunity for Dae'Vonn and his future! He is very excited for this opportunity and chance to experince something like this.  He was able to choose out 7 different locations out of state to attend the program this summer. He choose to attend the program at Babson College in Boston, MA in July for 6 days.

The only problem is there is not a lot of time to pay the fees for the program.  We received the letter on April 13th and they are asking for the full balance be paid by May 14th.  Which is coming very quickly. If you are able to donate anything to help Dae'Vonn be able to attend this program we would greatly appreciate it.
