Early Wednesday morning Dae'Shawn King and friend Edna Paolo Reyes were murdered while sitting in their car near North Eastern Ave.
Knowing Dae'Shawn personally, he was the sweetest most intellectual person I've come to know. Who would be there for anyone who needed him. He put smiles on faces of everyone he befriended and cared about them so deeply. So now it's our turn. He has taken care of us emotional, mentally, and physically, I feel it's time we take care of him. I am trying to raise money for not only funeral costs but also for his family who are desperately mourning this surreal situation. We need to come together as a family and show him that even when he's gone, his family will still have the support they need in these hard times.
We all know this is nothing he'd ever put himself in the situation of, rather being at the wrong place at the wrong time.
So please, let's become a family and take care of one another in this desperate time of need and donate what you can so Dae'Shawn can be laid to rest. No mother should ever have to worry about struggling to bury their child let alone burying them at all. Let's do what we can to make this easier on his mourning family.
