Dad's Recovery Needs Your Support

My Dad is the strongest, hardest-working, tough-love man I know. He has worked in the construction business all my life, supporting my Mom and raising my brother and me. My heart is breaking right now for my Dad. He fell off a ladder while working and has shattered his calcaneus (heel). If you work construction or know anyone who works construction, this is detrimental for him. He is the breadwinner for him and my mother, and this is going to affect them drastically. He will have to have surgery and will be off work for a minimum of 6-8 weeks. He is an independent contractor; therefore, there will be no money coming in during this time. This man has worked boots on the ground, day in and day out. He has never taken a "handout" from anyone, as he has always been the one to "hand out" when someone was in need. He will probably be upset with me when he finds out I'm doing this. I'm hoping there are some gracious people out there that can help this husband, father, veteran, provider, and protector get through this tough time and allow him to heal properly so he can get back to bringing people's visions for their homes to life and doing what he loves.
