Dads not working, has daughter in college

A couple of months ago I had to have emergency surgery and have been out of work for almost 2 and a half months. I am just trying to get back on my feet and get caught up with bills and help my daughter with any financial needs that might pop up for college. I should be going back to work soon. I should have done this earlier but sometimes pride is a hard thing to swallow. I hope you can help.
