Dad’s Medical and Travel Expense

Hi, my name is Amy Hamlett and I am starting this fundraiser to help my Dad out with his expensive medical bills. He has Stage 3 lung cancer which has grown to 7cm. This has caused him problems and pain for two years straight. Right before his journey to figure out why he was in so much pain, Dad was living out his retirement generously helping others. Once his pain hit, he was no longer able to move around and be productive as he once was. He has been to countless number of hospitals, doctors, and clinics to figure out why he was in so much pain. Two years later after numerous Cat-scans, MRIs, and x-rays, they finally found the mass in his lung. However, by this time, he had already lost all use in his right arm and hand from where the nerves were damaged from the mass. Dad, unfortunately, does not have supplement insurance, so his money has been poured into bills for two straight years which is going to continue because of his treatments to try to shrink it. Co-pay after co-pay, medications, gas expense, hospital stay, and medical exams have been non-stop! That’s not including my dad had to have a whole new well dug during this time which was very expensive. If you are wanting to help, then this would be the best way. I don’t want my parents stressing and worrying over money which is what they are starting to do. I just want my dad thinking about getting well and that’s all. Your donations will help with the future medical expenses which the cancer center said will be well into the thousands of dollars before they are through!
