My name is Rhiannon and my goal is to help raise the money in time to get my dad to Sydney for his life saving brain surgery. We are aiming to raise $10,000 to cover the costs of the ambulance ride, his accommodations during recovery, any equipment/services/medical aids required for recovery and eventually his journey home to Brisbane.

In December of 2023, dad experienced his first seizure related to his brain aneurysm. This was the first of many seizures, and a very long journey of discovery for just how serious his condition is. Throughout the past year and a half we’ve learned that his aneurysm is not only the largest ever found in a living person, it’s considered to be the oldest.

However recently his condition has worsened with the aneurysm continuing to grow by the day, giving him only 6 months left to be with us unless we can get him this operation to save his life and keep him with us for a while to come yet.

I couldn’t imagine my brother losing both of his parents before he turns 15, and so any shares are a big help to get our story out there.
