Dad's KO Against Hairy Cell Lukemia

My father is my best friend, my strength, and my support. My father is a hard worker, tirelessly providing for my mom and I (and anyone else who needs it). My dad's greatest attribute is his willingness to help others. Recently, he was diagnosed with HCL and it has put a financial, emotional, and physical strain on the family. We are a proud family and my dad is no different. I'm certain he isn't going to be happy with me setting up this account, but I feel it is one of the ways I can help him and our family during this challenging time.



For thos of you who don't know, HCL or Hairy cell leukemia is a rare, slow-growing cancer of the blood in which your bone marrow makes too many B cells (type of lymphocyte). There are over 52,380 people in the United States alone that are affected by leukemia, HCL only accounts for approximately 2% of all of the leukemia diagnoses in the country.
