Dad's KO Against Hairy Cell Lukemia

My father is my best friend, my strength, and my support. My father is a hard worker, tirelessly providing for my mom and I (and anyone else who needs it). My dad's greatest attribute is his willingness to help others. Recently, he was diagnosed with HCL and it has put a financial, emotional, and physical strain on the family. We are a proud family and my dad is no different. I'm certain he isn't going to be happy with me setting up this account, but I feel it is one of the ways I can help him and our family during this challenging time.

For thos of you who don't know, HCL or Hairy cell leukemia is a rare, slow-growing cancer of the blood in which your bone marrow makes too many B cells (type of lymphocyte). There are over 52,380 people in the United States alone that are affected by leukemia, HCL only accounts for approximately 2% of all of the leukemia diagnoses in the country. I know many of us are struggling. Everyone has their own struggle. I'm asking for your support. Please help my dad with whatever amount you can. Every bit helps! As his treatments progress, I will keep you updated. Until then, please keep us in your prayers!
