Hi all,

Chloe here, as most of you all know now, my dad Jamie Mccoll passed away on 15th March 2025. Dad had a brilliant life but it was cut short, 37 years is no age to go.

He had his first operation in 2018 due to his rare blood (polycythemia) he had blood clots in his stomach and bowel since then it was just surgery after surgery but you would never have known. He would always make a joke about it and just carried on with his life. If he was in pain he would say 'I'll take these pills and hope for the best' he did this so he did not have to be in hospital again and did not want to leave his family. He loved his family, his mum and dad (Sara and Paddy), his twin brother Anthony, me (his proud daughter Chloe) and of course his precious 4 month old granddaughter Millie, his nieces Lauren and Megan, his uncles Andy and Paul, his aunties Jackie and Debbie, his sister in law Sarah and his son in law Matthew.

Dad then went into hospital on Christmas eve and had even more operations and this then led to more. He become severely ill but still carried on like he was fine and pretended there was nothing wrong. Every time we went to see Dad in hospital with the family he would always try and get something out of them like Ribena, sprite or monster munch (this was typical dad!)

Dad had tough fight dealing with all the complications but sadly lost his battle. Dad will never be forgotten and will be in all of our hearts forever. We love and miss him so much!

We would appreciate any donation to help towards his funeral dad hadn't worked for a few years due to his health problems and myself just starting a new family in our first home it was the last thing we expected to have to do. We just want to give dad the best send off we possibly can.
