Hello, my name is Dorothy and this is the most difficult thing I have ever had to write in my life. My dad passed away on May 21, 2022 and it has been an emotional and challenging time for our family as we grieve him. His passing came unexpectedly, and it is hard to believe that my dad is no longer here with us. My family and I humbly ask for your assistance with his funeral and legal costs that have arisen since his passing.

My father was born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico where he grew up on a ranch. My father was known for riding bulls in the rodeos of the local ranch festivals. He always wanted to have fun with his friends and family and was always very close to his brothers and sisters. He came to the United States in the 1980's in search of a better life for himself and for us, his family. He worked his way up in construction and became a Foreman for the company that he worked for most of his life. He did construction work all over Orange County including Disneyland, UC's, for famous musicians, and basically, any fancy construction you see in the OC, was probably him. My father was always really proud of the work he did and he was extremely creative. He did everything he could to give us a good life and provide for his family.

My father passed away while he was visiting Mexico. He had planned to come back to the United States before he passed away. On his last call to my Aunt, he had told her that he loved my sisters and I very much and to please watch over us if anything were to ever happen to him. Knowing this, gives us comfort, but also breaks our hearts that he didn't get the opportunity to come back to the U.S. to see us and tell us he loves us. It is hard to believe that he is no longer here, but in our hearts and memories, he will live forever.

Unfortunately, because my father passed away in Mexico, many legal issues have come up, and my sisters and I have had to hire a lawyer to help us. His passing has been difficult on its own, however this has added on to our challenges. We are grateful and thankful for any donations that we receive.
