A Journey to Normandy & Family in England
My dad is 65 years old and fighting terminal stage 4 lung cancer. In October, doctors told him he likely has just 12 to 18 months to live. Since then, everything has changed — priorities, time, and what truly matters.
What my dad wants most isn’t things or treatments — it’s time with family and the chance to experience something deeply meaningful while he still can.
His dream is to travel to Europe, especially to Normandy, France, a place that has always held deep meaning for him, and then to visit me, his daughter, and my husband in Liverpool, England. He wants to walk the beaches, feel the history, breathe the air, and then spend precious time with the people he loves — making memories we will carry forever.
Unfortunately, we simply don’t have the money to make this happen.
Between medical bills, reduced income, and the rising cost of travel — especially with his health needs — this trip is far beyond what our family can afford. We are hoping to raise £10,000 to cover flights, accommodations, travel insurance, and the additional costs of traveling with a serious illness.
This is not a vacation.
This is a final wish.
Every day matters now. Every memory we can create together matters. This journey would give my dad something beautiful to look forward to — a light in a very dark time.
If you’re able to donate, share, or help in any way, we would be beyond grateful. Even the smallest contribution brings us closer to giving him this once-in-a-lifetime moment.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for helping us give my dad something truly priceless — time, love, and a dream fulfilled.
