Dad’s Cancer Battle, help fund his trip to Australia

Unfortunately, my dad Ian has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Kidney cancer, with metastases in his lungs & lymph nodes.

Although this has absolutely broke mine, my two brothers and my mum’s hearts, he has been so so brave and such a fighter, attending all treatments, hospital appointments and continuing with his 9-5 job to take his mind off everything.

Luckily, the symptoms are ok for now and he manages with pain relief and a healthy lifestyle. As Ian’s family we have a mass load of hope with a big mix of emotions. Things are going in the right direction however we know that may or may not change so the timeline going forward is blurred and unclear.

Dad’s 50th Birthday is in July this year and I know his dream before his diagnosis was to travel and see his family in Australia. I really want to make this happen for him, but sadly travel insurance is extremely expensive, so I need a bit of help. I now turn to my friends, family, community and kind hearted strangers for support. Any generosity would contribute to a trip of a lifetime.

Even if it is £1-5 i would appreciate any donation. And if i am able to raise enough money hopefully i can send my mum or my brothers with him.
