Daddy's unexpected COVID death

As you may or may not know, my daddy, James S. Upson, who meant the world to me passed away unexpectedly on July 10th, 2020 due to the Coronavirus. Daddy started showing symptoms in late June and due to his symptoms worsening, my mom and I decided to take him to the hospital on July 5th. He was admitted and immediately diagnosed with COVID-19. However, soon after being admitted he started showing signs of improvement and was then discharged on July 7th. We were all happy to have daddy home and looked forward to his full recovery from the monstrous virus. Unfortunately, our hope was short-lived because he passed away in his sleep on July 10th.
My daddy was my role model! He taught me everything I know, but most importantly, he taught me how to be self-sufficient. Because of him I know how to change a car battery, a tire...things most twenty-two-year-olds nowadays may not know how to do. He taught me how to have an appreciation for life! Unfortunately, his sudden death has deprived me of defining moments including my college graduation, walking me down the aisle, and having my first child; moments I will never get to experience with daddy by my side. All I am left with are memories and a broken heart!
