Father/Son Honduras Mission Trip

Henry and I (also named Henry II) will be traveling to a remote village in Honduras in July of this year. Joined by several other father/son teams, we will be working with Project Impact to build a gravity-fed water system and talk about the changes God has made in our lives.

I (Henry Sr.) have traveled to Honduras with Project Impact the last three years. This will be Henry's first mission trip and we are hoping that the experience of seeing how people in other countries live and spending a week with men who have committed to following Jesus, will guide him as he embarks on a new and exciting chapter in life.

Henry II graduates high school this year and has been accepted to several colleges, including Baylor, A&M, and UT-Arlington. He has chosen to attend UT-Arlington where he plans to study biology in hopes of getting into medical school. Even at such a young age, Henry II has been through some pretty tough times and the loss he has experienced has fueled him to work hard and help others.

We are reaching out to our friends and family to raise the $3,000 needed for us both to take part in this amazing project this summer. While in the village, we will not only work side-by-side with the men, we will also live in the village, play with the children, attend church services with them, and learn as much from them as they will from us.
