Michael is a great man, beloved father and a grandfather whose recent stomach pain turned out to be a final stage of pancreatic cancer.
Michael spent the last two weeks in a hospital due to pain and internal bleeding that had to be controlled with invasive procedures. He accepted his diagnosis with courage and optimism and is about to start chemotherapy next week in an attempt to control the cancer's growth.
In the meantime, Michael lost his job and is currently facing medical bills and other expenses while awaiting disability benefits.
Me and my sister are actively involved in his care and do everything possible to make his life easier.
